Setting the Standard. Building the Bond.

At Certify Canine, we do more than train dogs—we shape teams built to thrive in the real world. Our programs are designed to hold under pressure, because life doesn’t happen in a controlled environment. We believe in practical skills, clear expectations, and training that actually works in everyday life.

We believe every dog and handler deserves a strong, lasting bond built on clear communication and mutual respect. That’s why our team— from seasoned trainers to passionate apprentices—focuses on relationship-based, balanced training tailored to your goals and your lifestyle. Our job is to support that bond, not override it.

Meet our team

Blake Woody

Founder & Trainer

Founder of Certify Canine, Blake Woody is a master trainer with over 14 years of experience specializing in service, therapy, and high-level behavior work. After a traumatic brain injury changed the course of her life, Blake experienced the transformative impact of a working dog firsthand. That moment became her mission—to build teams that can withstand pressure where obedience alone fails.

Her guiding philosophy: trust first, behavior second. It's the foundation of every dog-human partnership she helps shape.

Keyon Prichett

Dog Trainer - Evaluator

Keyon Prichett is a skilled trainer with four years of hands-on experience, specializing in high-drive, working breeds. With a calm presence and an analytical mind, Keyon brings a deep understanding of canine psychology into every session. His approach helps dogs channel intensity into clarity and purpose, creating strong, sustainable communication between dog and human.

Keyon blends structure, insight, and trust to build lasting partnerships that work—especially when pressure is high.

What’s the Difference?

Certify Canine vs. Certify Canine Training

Think of Certify Canine as the foundation—and Certify Canine Training as the framework that brings it to life.

Certify Canine sets the national standard for working dog certification. We provide structured evaluations, third-party liability insurance, and clear benchmarks for service, therapy, and facility dogs. With certified evaluators across the country, we’re able to support teams nationwide—while building a growing network of professional trainers who share our commitment to high standards and ethical practices.

Certify Canine Training is the heartbeat of how we build those teams. Led by Blake Woody in Arizona, our training program blends real-world structure with relationship-based strategies. Whether you're navigating leash reactivity, raising a focused working candidate, or simply want to deepen the bond with your companion, we meet you where you are—with support that fits real life.

Training is available in person for local clients and virtually for teams across the U.S., making our approach accessible no matter your location. Every program is tailored, grounded in trust, and focused on lasting results—not just temporary obedience.

Together, we don’t just train dogs. We legitimize working partnerships—and help every dog-human team rise to their full potential.
